Not sure why this place doesn’t have a higher rating. The food is SO good. The Cacio e Pepe really hits the spot. Service was good, felt a bit rushed but I think they are just efficient. Kid friendly. They have a changing table in the bathroom. And they give coloring pencils out.

Jon and Vinny’s is a great spot to head for dinner with friends. The menu is well designed for starting so you can taste a bunch of different things - and that we did. The pizza crust is light and fluffy with a good crunch and the pasta is very well seasoned with some nice unique flavours. They have a great selection of natural wines - one of the waiters was knowledgeable but unfortunately one of the servers wasn’t as in the ball and needed to get verification on our questions quite a few times.

so the other night we ate at the Fairfax location. tonight we're at the Beverly. I want to experience the vibe of both Beverly is actually a little bit more open and less cave-like. Fairfax restaurant is a little bit more Street feeling. definitely brighter at this location is there a special machine is amazingly placed faema machine looks good . the espresso tastes amazing too with a pizza notes the acidity of the espresso really brings the pizza out vice versa. I'm actually doing this review as I'm eating. we made reservations for 9:00 and walked in early and made the early seating. there's something fast about eating pizza and something personal about eating pasta but this location the pizza felt personal it felt slow down and it fell present find dining in a slice Melissa our server when above and beyond and made us feel like family when we're eating. I've never went to the slauson location but if you want soft goods I recommend Fairfax they have a bunch of graphics on their t-shirts more than the Beverly location. another thing to note is a lot of younger crowd here I think it's because walking distance from Holmes is easier than other locations but have the restaurant at all times or younger people which I don't mind it's just something to note. people say the portions are small first night we ate a salad and a pasta me and my girlfriend shared and we were just a little hungry after but not that not that bad. tonight at the Beverly location we had a pizza a pasta and a salad. the pizzas decent portion and I'm going to need a wheelchair as I leave this area. the coffee is phenomenal first aid medicinal grade

This is absolutely one of the best modern Italian food experiences you can have in LA. Every single dish we had was nothing short of phenomenal. Starting off with the gem lettuce, Calabrian chili dressing, and bread crumb salad - every bite was perfectly dressed and the chili dressing added a surprising, but delicious kick to it. The bread crumbs added another layer to the dish that made the texture so much more enjoyable. Marinara Braised Meatballs, Ricotta, Garlic Bread - quite possibly the best meatballs I’ve had in my life. The tender juiciness and hearty flavor of these meatballs won me over immediately. The marinara sauce mixed with ricotta on each bite with the meatball was a delicious combination. The garlic bread was a great addition to this plate. A little bit on the buttery side so you had to eat this pretty fast, but I still very much enjoyed it. Brooklyn Dodger & Roman Gladiator - both these pizzas were fantastic, but one definitely outshined the other and that was the Roman Gladiator. The meat medley of bacon, fennel sausage, pepperoni, and smoked ham with caciocavallo cheese was absolutely bursting with flavor in all the best ways. My only critique is that I wish the bottoms of the pizza were cooked a little more so that the slice didn’t flop as much, but it was still manageable. Spicy Fusilli & Spaghetti Limone - *WARNING: HOT TAKE* - the spicy fusilli was good, but it was nothing to write home about. I know it’s the crowd favorite and I had some high expectations, but if I’m being honest, the spaghetti limone was much better. The spicy fusilli seemed very basic to me, just like a regular vodka sauce dish where nothing really blew my socks off. The spaghetti limone had such a subtle creamy lemon flavor and texture to it where the noodles were also cooked perfectly. Again, the bread crumbs added a much appreciated layer to the pasta that gave it a very pleasing texture. Ricotta, Orange Blossom Honey, Sesame Seeds - this is a perfect dish if you need a savory break to enjoy something light and subtly sweet. I loved the airy, but perfectly toasted bread with the cold ricotta and orange blossom honey. I like to save my sweeter dishes for the end of a dinner and this was THE perfect final dish to enjoy after all the savory, saucy madness Overall amazing experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will absolutely be back in the near future

She recommended a couple of her favorite dishes we went with the mushroom pizza and it was very delicious. If you're looking to have dinner here ask for Melissa She's really the best.
